Best Selling Items on eBay - Uncover Hot Niche Items That Sell and Will Start Your eBay Business

For those who would like to start an on-line business and are looking around for ideas. let me present to you a place where your customers already have their credit cards out ready to spend money and are looking for things to buy.
The most important thing to do here is not reinvent the wheel. Simply find the best selling items on eBay and you've already cut down half the work.
1. Go over to eBay pulse. This is an eBay tool that allows you to see what the most searched for items are in each category.
2. Choose a category from the drop down menu and you'll be presented with a top ten of the most searched for item in this particular category.
3. Click on your chosen item and that will forward you to the eBay auctions for this item. This is great, but the information here is useless. Click on the "completed listings" tab on the left hand side. Note: you'll need to be logged into eBay to use this function.
4. You'll now be presented with a list of sold items with times and dates. This is is your list of the best selling items for this category and item. With this knowledge, you can now pinpoint small niche items within this sold list.
You have two choices:
1. You can either purchase a few of these items hoping that they're in the original packaging. This will allow you to use "The Reverse Reconnaissance Method" of reverse engineering an auction listing. On the packaging should either be the manufacturers name or distributor. Simply get in contact with them and arrange terms of price and purchase.
Note: Take a note of how the item was packaged and which delivery company was used. Copy and mimic this small detail since your vendor has probably researched this to death, so need to do the same.
2. Or you can use the "swipe and list method" of bidding on these auctions either late at night or in the early hours of the morning. Why? Because the there's less competition at these times and you can win auctions at a low bid. Does the phrase buy low sell high ring any bells. This is the technique in its full glory.
You can uncover hot niche items like these in any category you choose. You just rinse and repeat this formula time and time again.
This is the start of getting your own eBay business up and running. The only thing you need to do now is take action!
